From what I can gauge from fellow teen/college kids who love Kacey, “Dime Store Cowgirl” and “Die Fun” are getting much love. Personally, I was very excited when Leave the Night On (one of McAnally’s co-writes with Hunt) popped up on my radio station last summer, because it was the first new song on country radio I heard in a while that didn’t fundamentally suck as music, even if it definitely wasn’t country.
